Michele & Sherry Update Page

Michele is doing well tonight. They are weaning her off the ventilator still but she's almost there. They started intravenous nutrition tonight; giving her sugar, fat and protein directly to her blood. This should start building her energy up and take away the feeling of hunger. They also removed the drain from her craniotomy today. She is awake and alert for hours at a time. She smiles, waves and understands what is said to her. This morning she told me (thru hand signs) that most of the pain she has is in her back. She is getting pain medicine so she is comfortable enough to rest.
